We have started a new Rope Rendezvous Workshop SIG (Special Interest Group) in Cincinnati, Ohio called, C.A.R.E: Cincinnati Area Rope Enthusiasts.
The Rope Rendezvous class is a hands-on workshop geared for both Tops and bottoms, and will have a different rope theme each month. Step-by-step instructions will be given with each class and you'll have time to practice your newly acquired skills. There are no prerequisites and you do not need to attend the classes in sequence. We encourage everyone to participate and bring your own ideas to share. This is a chance to learn from your neighbors and bring new ideas into your repertoire of play. Topics covered will be from basic safety ,individual knots, tying, harnesses, bamboo bondage, decorative art forms, and working up to semi and full suspension techniques, facilitated by Shibari Master David. This will be an ongoing gathering usually on the first Friday of every month. You do not need a partner to attend!! This relaxing atmosphere will provide an opportunity for people to get to know others from the local areas, share your rope enthusiasm, and make new friends. The class will be ~3 hours, with the first hour of every class covering basics, a break for *dinner*, then we will continue with the rest of the workshop. A social time filled with delicious food and great conversation will continue until about 12:30am. Dress code is: wear something comfortable (street legal), especially for the bottoms that will allow easy movement. Body suit, leotard, shorts & T-shirt, sports bra, socks, etc. Nudity is NOT Allowed! $5.00 per person covers the cost of all expenses.
